PERFORMANCE IN THE FRAME OF PROJECT ESTÚDIOS

In their first week of work together, the seven portuguese and brazilian artists that take part in this year’s ESTÚDIOS, presented seven personal solos inside an empty swimming pool.

Each of these solos is a story, created individually by each one of the artists. These solos are meant to be the “visiting card” that each artist hands out to the other artists involved in the project ESTÚDIOS and also to the audience that will engage in this summer theatrical adventure at the Teatro Maria Matos. Is there a better way for an artist to introduce himself than telling a story?
