Urgências (urgencies) is a project that wished to be, throughout three editions, a research space for contemporary portuguese dramaturgy, organised by Mundo Perfeito and Produções Fictícias. In each edition, several authors were invited to answer the question “what do you have so urgent to tell me?” by writing short plays and collaborating with the actors that would perform their texts. The first edition of project Urgências took place in 2004, at Teatro Maria Matos, in Lisbon, including original texts by Filipe Homem Fonseca, Luís Filipe Borges, Nuno Artur Silva, Nuno Costa Santos, Pedro Mexia, Susana Romana and Tiago Rodrigues.
