The third and last edition of project Urgências (urgencies) was devoted to the writing and staging of six more original short plays. Throughout it’s three editions, presented at Teatro Maria Matos, this project staged 23 short plays by 17 portuguese authors and proved to be a reference for portuguese dramaturgy. Urgências was the result of the collaboration between Mundo Perfeito, Produções Fictícias and Teatro Maria Matos. Halfway between a performance and a short play’s festival, every year Urgências asked authors to answer the question: “what do you have so urgent to tell me?”.
